Novembris, was originally the ninth month of the old Roman calendar

November is the eleventh month of the Gregorian (New Style) calendar in use today and has 30 days.

November was the ninth month of the old Roman calendar which began in March and comes from the Latin word novem, or nine.
Although the Roman calendar was revised and the year began two months earlier in January, November continued with its traditional but incorrect name.
The Roman senate tried on several occasions to re-name November in the early first century A.D.
Despite the many efforts to change the name of November to a Roman Emperor or a wife, none of the names remained and so to this day, the month is incorrectly named.

Saving time is well and good, but it is deplorable that time can’t be placed in storage for future use.
